Saving From RAW to RAW

I have a bunch of RAW images, that I need to change the date, time and names before importing them into LR. I don't want to import them from Photo Mechanic.

So instead of saving them as Jpegs, Tiffs or PSDs, I want to re-save them as the RAW. Can I do this?

If you have changed the metadata (dates/times/IPTC fields/filenames) then the data has already been saved.  Unless you want to save as a different format, you don't need to do anything else.
