Folder naming script
« on: March 26, 2019, 03:36:32 PM »
I use this script: {iptcyear4}{iptcmonth0}{iptcday0}_{city} to name folders and re-name images during ingest in PM5. PM6 carried it over, but for some reason does not insert the city name at the end. I'm running version 6 on a Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop, running Win10, version 1709.

Are you sure your images have data in the City field?  If not, that variable will evaluate to an empty string ("").

I was quite sure that field had been populated before I clicked on "ingest," but it was the first batch of images from a new city and I added that city immediately before ingesting them. In any event, I saved a template for that city/country, applied it to today's images, and it works. Thanks.
