IPTC empty
« on: March 29, 2019, 02:26:30 AM »
Hello !

I have a little problem since the update of my computer (windows). When I open somes pictures in Photo Mechanics, all the fields are empty (see capture). This is very strange because my colleague don't have the problem with the same pictures. Are it's really strange because it concerns only the pictures coming from one source.
Have you ever heard talking about this....
Kind regards
Isabelle

Likely the image simply doesn't contain any metadata or, if it is a raw file, doesn't have the accompanying.xmp file present. Can you share an image so we can ahave a look?

I see all of the metadata in your photo.  What are your IPTC/XMP settings in Photo Mechanic's Preferences dialog?  Please do a screen grab.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG format screenshot.

Thanks,

-Kirk
