PM6 Trial Installed concurrent with PM5?

I am using PM5 heavily right now and don't want to risk that workflow, but want to install PM6 to see how it handles my work and plan an orderly "cut over" once initial release bugs are resolved.  Can I have PM5 and PM6 installed simultaneously and not generate conflicts?
