Yes I did. In the former version, it worked. but after the last update, it does not.

Specifically, "after the last update" of what?  Windows?  GStreamer?  Photo Mechanic 6?

After the last up date of  Photo Mechanic 6.
JFYI, before GStreamer was installed in an external hard disk drive automatically. I thought it is not an appropriate place, so this time I disconected HDD and GStreamer has got installed at C drive.

Anyway, I will give a last trial of classic uninstall and reinstall, to see if it works.

Best,

If you can't call then contact them by email: support@camerabits.com and arrange a support session.  They will have you download TeamViewer which will allow them to see what's going wrong with your setup and assist you directly.

Or if you want me to keep trying, I can.  But it may take days to resolve via the forum.

I have tried the same in my office PC, Win 10  Pro 10.0.18363 build 18363 64 bit and the exactly same thing.
So its not a particular issue of matching of one particular machine.

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Windows Explorer window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

Thanks,

I'm not seeing any attempt or failure to load any movie files in your log.  Can I see a screenshot of your Files tab in the Photo Mechanic Preferences dialog showing the "Location of GStreamer install:" field?

Also, can you post a screenshot of a Windows Explorer dialog showing the 'bin' directory in the gstreamer\1.0\x86_64 directory?  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG format screenshots.

Can you also open a Command Prompt and give me the output of the command 'env' ?  I only need lines that start with 'GST', you can copy and paste from the command prompt window by selecting the text and then right-clicking.  The text will now be in your clipboard and you can paste it in your reply.

Thanks,

-Kirk

I wonder if the command is "set" in stead of "env" which is invalid in my OS.
Here is the environment information copy and paste.

GSTREAMER_1_0_ROOT_X86_64=C:\gstreamer\1.0\x86_64\
GST_PLUGIN_PATH=C:\gstreamer

Attached screen shots of location of gstreamer.

Best

I'm sorry.  I use Cygwin and 'env' is part of it, but 'set' is the right one for a vanilla command prompt.

Here is the environment information copy and paste.

GSTREAMER_1_0_ROOT_X86_64=C:\gstreamer\1.0\x86_64\
GST_PLUGIN_PATH=C:\gstreamer

Good.

Attached screen shots of location of gstreamer.

The Windows Explorer screenshot isn't showing the "C:\gstreamer\1.0\x86_64\bin" directory.

Also, I wonder what's going on with the GStreamer path in the Photo Mechanic Preferences dialog.  I see 'yen' characters where backslashes would be.
