Do you mean Ingest?  I'm not sure what you mean by "include".

@Kirk, Looking at the pdf Soizic included, she means “scan to catalog”.

@Soizic, the catalog is busy being filled (yes, it should tell you more clearly and actually prevent you from working with the catalog at all until tit is done, I have already reported this during the private beta testing). If you give it some more time I'm sure it will eventually finish and allow you to wok with the catalog

Having to force stop PM shouldn’t have been necessary and is suspicious. After you restarted PM what does PM tell you it’s doing in the task panel? Are all task green or are some still busy/stalled (yellow/red).

One is yellow (metadata ) If I quit PM+, and relance I have a message "PM+ is busy, do you wait Yes/NO ?"  If Yes, nothing… if NO PM+ quit.

I supress folder Camerabits in Library and relance PM+, I may create a new catalog. I include my jpg folders (2018,2017 …) one after one, waiting green tasks before next. Each have a thousand of pictures.
 All seem fine but problem begin again.

During my own testing I have had a couple of stalled “scan to catalog” sessions. In my case quitting PM (clicking No in the wait for catalog dialog) and restarting worked eventually (in some cases I had to repeat the quit/restart procedure before PM really finished all remaining batches). This is a bug and is being looked at.

Can you try to quit and restart PM? (wait some time before quitting PM and take not of the number of batches remaining).

I suspected a keyword problem between CaptureOne and PM, stop was always on folder 2010 (C1 beginning). I harmonize.
I reset PM and create a catalog with only year 2010, same problem

@Soizic, since capturing the screenshot of the tasks, have you quit and restarted PM already? Is it still stuck at 8 batches?
Note that while PM is busy updating the catalog you won't be able to access it (it won't show you all files/metadata, it might actually still look “empty”).

For the rest your dyn.log shows similar errors from my own when I was dealing with a stuck “scan to catalog”.

@Kirk/Bill, in Soizic's log I notice a frequent exception for a method_missing call (together with an invalid byte sequence in UTF-8 which sounds strange too). Is this perhaps (part of) the cause for the apparent “scan to catalog” hang? I had those too in my logs.

I thing I have a bug in my 2010 pictures, no idea today.

After reset, Onyx, reboot, I have a real good catalog with all my pictures except year 2010.
I made a save of catalog after each include. To morrow I will transport catalog on my second computer…perhaps it will bee fine !

I suppose it is too early to make catalogs fusion ?

I  suppress this pictures and catalog is perfect.
