Newbie question on PM Plus

First, I would like to know what are the advantages of having PM Plus. I would also like to ask what is the ideal size of a catalogue, considering that it is possible to create more than one catalogue in PM Plus.

First, I would like to know what are the advantages of having PM Plus.

The main difference between Photo Mechanic 6 and Photo Mechanic Plus is the Catalog system.

I would also like to ask what is the ideal size of a catalogue, considering that it is possible to create more than one catalogue in PM Plus.

No limits on the size, though indexing gets slower as the number of images goes up.  It's been tested/punished with 1 million images in a single catalog and performance was still good.
