If one selects View Crop without first setting the crop, PM crashes. Running PM 6 under Windows 10. See attachment also.

Is this generated by Photo Mechanic? And am I responding back to Camera Bits? It would be reassuring to know whom I am responding to.

Yes, these reports go to the CameraBits developers. They will be happy if you send them :)

I was unable to reproduce this crash on my Windows 7 system (I doubt the crash has to do with the OS version, but it's possible).  Can you tell me more about the crash?  Does this happen for all non-cropped images, regardless of size?  Does this happen for all image types or only one in particular?

Any other details that would help us reproduce the crash that you can think of are most appreciated.

Thanks,

-Kirk

We've now tried to reproduce on Windows 10 and can't get a crash to occur either.  We're going to need more information from you, David.

Thanks,

-Kirk

I checked other photos and some cause the crash and others do not. A larger image size did not appear to have a relationship since a larger file did not fail, but a still larger file from a phone did. I'm uploading two images - one that failed and one that did not.

I am leaving on a road trip for several weeks in about two hours, so I will be unable to access the computer where these failures occured. I'll be able to respond to a post, but will not be able to do any testing for you.
