Ingesting to external HD : Folder not visible in navigator of PM

Hi support
l ingest to an external harddisk.
the window does not appear while ingesting and at the end the folder does not appear in the navigator of PM on the left.

Have you set the ingest to open contact sheets while ingesting? Check your ingest settings (CMD+G) and make sure that “Open Contact Sheets during Ingest” is selected.

If you close the parent folder (20190504 PDM Dhading Nepal) does the new folder appear?

sorry for late answer as l am in Nepal traveling in remote region with little internet access.

tody l did an ingest again.
and again on to an external harddsik.
although on the top of the window the tab with the date appears it does not open in the navigator see screenshots.
after closing PM and reopening l did a open recent and selected todays date and nothing happened.
then l selected open new window and the tab with todays date appeared 20190511
