Annoying box pop up

When I take one card out of my reader and place another one in, a box pops up within PM saying: Error: the specified directory does not exist and cannot be opened.

I am able to close that box and continue but it is very annoying.


Version 6 on a PC Windows 10 machine

Are you unmounting the card first or just ejecting it without unmounting?  That message does exist in Photo Mechanic but only is displayed when the app is asked to open a directory as a contact sheet but the directory doesn't exist at the time of opening.

No, I don't unmount cards.

The previous version OF PM I didn't have this issue.

Please tell me how to reproduce this issue?  A complete set of steps including starting with PM not running through to the point where the problem occurs.  If I can reproduce the problem, then it is very likely that I can fix it.

Take sd card out of my Nikon D750

Place it in my Transcend card reader

PM opens up showing the contact sheet

I take out the sd card

I put in a second card from another camera

A box pops up : Error - the specified directory does not exist and cannot be opened.

I close the box and continue as normal
