« on: May 14, 2019, 11:19:23 PM »

1)i have installed the last v6 trial today on w10 and high sierra
about geotaggig does Photo Mechanic use google map api key on both operation system?
is there a probability that it won't work in the near future and we have to add a personal api key?

2)
about geotagging is there a way to save in xmp sidecar files?
or the only way is to add such information directly on the image

thanks

For choosing GPS coordinates via Google maps, we have our own key and pay the costs so that you don't have to.
For reverse geocoding, we have our own Geocoding server.  We do not use Google geocoding services for reverse geocoding.

GPS coordinates are saved in EXIF data.  The reverse geocoding features write data to XMP (city, state, country, etc.)
