Edit photo with

It should be useful for me to have 2 or more choice in the editor software I want to use for editing a picture. I've a few editors and I use different ones depending of the camera I used to take the picture or of the type of export I consider. Thanks

Are the 10 you can now set not enough for you?

You can assign an editor for each file type that PM supports and an additional ten custom editors.

In fact I was expecting a scrolling menu you can elaborate choosing yourself, in the "Preferences" the softs you have on your computer and you want to use. (I have some softs on my computer I don't use in my main works). The last choice you've done will automatically stay in place till you change it. And eventually you can change this previous proposal choice with the right click or some other key when you've selected a picture you want to edit?
Sure, it's less automatic, but it could let you a different choice depending of many factors for the same type of file. And I like to be free in my choices, and not dependent of an rigid automatism. ;~)
Is my explanation understandable?

OK, thanks.
I'm just migrating from MediaPro so I don't know PM6 I've just bought and I try to learn directly PM6+ because of catalog feature.

You can also drag the thumbnail from Photo Mechanic to the icon of the other program and, depending on the other program, the correct action occurs: Photoshop opens the file; ON1 opens the enclosing folder in Browse; Lightroom opens an Import dialog for the enclosing folder.

What's more, you can set something like an email client as an "Edit with" target, or drag thumbnails to website upload pages.
