For me it has to be quite narrow before things get clipped.

Really don't know if this is quite narrow...anyway it is not always visible...

Thanks for the screenshot.  It's narrower than one of your thumbnails.  Not sure how usable it would be at that width.  For now it's as good as it's gonna get.
