preferences - find

Can this behavior be changed? I am posting here because I assume I'm messed up a setting somewhere, perhaps in preferences.
I get 2 different views of the search results depending if I search via Quick Search vs Edit > search
I have a small test catalog of 337 images
1) search via Edit > Find the search yields 5 images & shows the 5 w/red background scattered among all the other 332 images which have white backgrounds
2) search same criteria via quick search & yields same 5 images but shows ONLY those 5 images with a white background
I would prefer to show the 5 searched images at the top of the contact sheet in red (or whatever color).
or
2nd choice would be to only show the found images
another odd question about search
when I search "" (both via quick search & edit>search) the search PM does not actually select anything "selected 0 of 337  seems odd

Hi,
In the future (sooner or later) PM6+ will be able to show only selected files (as it is currently possible with PM6) and this will help locate the files of the search. After that you will be able to tag them or mark them with a different colour.
