Filter by Keywords and the Search function

I find the Search function rather strange when Filtering by Keywords.

My Keywords are hierarchical and if I only have one filter open and I start typing in the Search box the list of keywords (which is long) scrolls to reveal the first match in the list.  I would have expected the match to be highlighted somehow (or even selected) as I type and have nothing selected if no match is found.  This may not be how the search function is intended to work but I think it would be logical to somehow indicate a match to the search, maybe by scrolling the selected item to the top of the search window.

Any thoughts?

BTW, I love the hierarchical keywords and the filter facility.

I agree that some sort of highlighting should be added to the matched item, though I don't think it should necessarily be selected (would cause filter query) though.
