New iMac but not sure if my setting for PM6 are right

Empty Disk Cache on quit = yes

Memory Cache size 28% 4587
Just moved from Windows to iMac but PM6 (Latest version) has become slow. Keep getting the spinning wheel when I try and use PM6. Suspect I have not set it up correctly.

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019)

processor 3.7 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5

Memory 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

Start up disk Macintosh HD

Graphics Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB
