Problem with videofiles - renaming.
« on: January 08, 2020, 04:10:47 PM »
Hi,
It took me some time but I figured out how all the renaming is working - very powerful.
Sadly it is not working for my videofiles :-( What is wrong?

Any help welcome.
Thanks.
F.

It would help if you'd show me what you're using as your renaming string.  Without more information I cannot help you.

You are right - I should have thought about this...
Here you go:
Folder is:
{year4}\{year4}-{month0}_{jobname}\
Filename is:
{datesortdash}_{hour24}-{minute}-{second}_{jobname}_={model}=_

Probably the problem is that there is no EXIF-data in video-files. Downloader Pro is taking the Dates from the filesystem in this case - this works great.

Any Idea how to ingest Photos and Videos at the same time and the same namesystem?
Thanks.
Best.
F.

What is the specific filename extension on your video file(s)?
