(Size Info Unavailable)?

I keep getting the following error on the bar on the lower left of the screen (Size Info Unavailable)?

In particular this happens when I do a recursive scan, putting all file s from a particular directory and sub directory into a new contact sheet. It gives me the number of files in total and I asked for the subset .NEF files which is 824 files.

Using latest version of Apple Catalina

Am ai doing something wrong?

That indicates that one or more of the images that are selected has not yet had its metadata loaded.  It should be a temporary condition though it won't change the message again until you change the selection.

Hi Kirk, Still experiencing the same issue as before with a recursive scan, "size info unavailable". This time it is accompanied by the bouncing beach ball.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
