Odd graphic issue with PM Plus

I’m getting a strange anomaly with the latest version of PM plus- a little black square appears on the screen when Photo Mechanic is running - like a hot pixel but much larger than a pixel (although still relatively small) and always black in color. It doesn’t move when you scroll and if you switch over to another screen (I’m running PM in full screen mode on my MacBook Pro) it disappears, return to PM and it reappears.

I’m on a 2017 MacBook Pro 15in running the latest Catalina updates with 16 GB RAM 2.9 GHz i7 - graphic card is a Radeon Pro 560 4GB VRAM (and intel HD graphic la 630 1536 MB).

Thanks, Vasha.  We're aware of the problem but we haven't figured out what creates the small top-most window.

Gotcha. I’m sure you’ll eventually find the bug, thankfully it’s not a huge issue!

I don't know if it's related, but I have this phenomenon when I switch my iMac to 5120x2880 and then back to 2560x1440...
I have this black square on my wallpaper, but not on the application windows...
Graphics card bug ?

That's the same issue Vasha is having.

I did some spelunking and found the problem and I have fixed it for the next build of Photo Mechanic Plus.

Ah... but yes, the square disappears when I close PM !!!!
