Mac Panic Attack
« on: December 06, 2020, 03:29:46 PM »
My 2019 MacBOOKPro computer running OS 10.15 has been quitting (panic attack) periodically and it seems to always be while PM+ has begun and is attempting to continue populating a requested Contact Sheet.  Today, I had opened a YouTube file on the Internet and had been watching it 2-3 minutes, sitting back with arms crossed (not doing anying else with the computer).  I am beginning to think that my issue has something to do with the PM+ code, so i am attaching the crash log, FYI - Jon Davidson

I looked at the log and Photo Mechanic does not appear in it.  Looks like some IO device failed to set its power state within a defined time limit and the driver that runs it crashed.  I suggest having your hardware checked out.

Thanks, Kirk; That is a good help since I can't read the machine language at all!! I plan to run Tech Tool Pro tonight; Have also sent the info to Apple and asked for a response, but someone there once told me that they don't respond to crash reports, but use them in engineering to check out the OS.  I'll get to the bottom of it shortly, but glad to know that PM+ is not involved.  Appreciate your checking. - Jon Davidson
