Question about Browse - EXIF - Lens used
« on: December 14, 2020, 10:38:49 AM »
I finished setting up my catalog for 140k images over the past two decades.

I shot a whole bunch of kids soccer images in 2016.  These were all shot with the 200-500 Nikkor lens.  I see these images in the catalog if I browse via Capture time (attachment 1)

However, when I browse through EXIF - Lens used, it is not picking up any of the soccer images via that option. (attachment 2).

The images are all NEF images, shot with a Nikon D610.  What am I missing?

What camera shot the images that do show as using that lens?  What is the file format of those thirteen images?

The 13 images that do show with 200-500 lens are JPG and TIF.  None of them are RAW.

All 13 of them shot with Nikon D750. FWIW, noticing the same pattern with another lens and D610 combination.

Sounds like PM/PMPlus isn't getting lens information from your D610 RAW files.  Can you share one, please?

I am sorry, false alarm. The lens was named differently :(.  There are two names for the same lens.

I should have checked closely.

Could you share one of the D750 images too, please?

Thanks,
