Thanks, I got the file.  The keywords field does not have the word "makro" in it, only "Andere Stichwörter".  I noticed you sent me the metadata for a different image than the one you showed the Metadata Info for.  It was 20-02-07-0343.xmp, not 20-02-07-0340.xmp.

Sorry, I manually freed every single image from this folder from the keywords over the weekend. I send you the link of the image with the end number 0323 and the corresponding XMP file with the keyword "blumen". Even there I can't delete the keyword with "Find and replace".

Hmm.  It works for me on both macOS and Windows 10.  See attached photo.

Kirk, I want to thank you for the effort. I have now gone to the trouble of deleting all the keywords using Adobe Bridge and am now building a new structure.

Hello Armin,
It's probably too late for you because you've solved your problem in other ways. But there may be other users with the same problem. There's a simple way: Mark all the images in which you want to delete all keywords. Then open the 'Metadata (IPTC) Template' with Crtl + I. Now first click on 'Clear' at the bottom left and then check whether all fields are actually empty and none of the boxes are selected. Then tick the box at 'Keywords:', but only there and not the box next to it with the '+'! The text box for keywords must be empty. Now click on 'Apply Template to Selected'. This step only deletes the keywords, but leaves all other metadata untouched (for example, Copyright Info).
