Remove Keyword from Selection
« on: February 14, 2021, 01:43:55 AM »
Before moving from Lightroom, I created temporary Hierarchical Keywords to identify each of my Lightroom Collections.  For Example...

Collection Fine Art -> Photographic Abstract
Collection Fine Art -> Triptych Art
Website -> About Page
Website -> Contact Page
Website -> Triptych Images

In PMP, I then Filtered by Keyword and created a corresponding Collection.  Job done!  Except I can't find a way to remove those temporary keywords. In Lightroom, I would have right clicked in the Keyword List and selected Delete, but in PMP it's not that simple.

So the question is:  How can I remove a keyword from a selection?

There currently is no simple way to remove a keyword from a selection.

Not a one click solution, but select each keyword you want to replace, use Find and Replace, pasting the keyword into Find and leave Replace as blank to remove the keyword from each selected image (select all in the collection).  Probably you could do all of them at the same time using GREP, but I have not been able to work out the syntax.

A lesser known computer acronym is WORM.  It stands for Write Once Read Many, which is exactly what you need when archiving data that will never need changing.
