New version of Plus wont create new folders

I downloaded the Photo Mechanic Plus update today but discovered it wont create new folders. A folder appears in white but when I click on it it disappears. I have had to revert to the standard Photo Mechanic

Which OS are you running?  Favorites or Navigator?
