Lost Keywords

Hi,

Yesterday I created a snapshot of a set of keywords from the Master Keywords List. Since then I cannot find the Master Keywords List. I tried "Load Master" but only get the keywords from the previously created snapshot.

In folder
C:\Users\MyAccount\AppData\Roaming\Camera Bits, Inc\Photo Mechanic\IPTCKeywordsSettings
I only find the snapshot.

The folder
C:\Users\MyAccount\AppData\Roaming\Camera Bits, Inc\Photo Mechanic\IPTCCurrentKeywordsSettings
is empty.

How do I retrieve the Master List?

You very likely cannot.  It sounds like you replaced your Master Keywords with one of your snapshots.

OK, bummer. But I have a backup from a couple of days ago. What is the name of the file that contains the Master List?

They're stored in the preferences database file: com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic.prefsdb

Make sure that you've quit Photo Mechanic before replacing that file.
