Error while removing multiple items from catalog

Through the course of indexing photos, I've ended up including 2500 images from an external drive which I now need to remove from my image catalog.

If I select all of these while browsing and select "remove from catalog" (or attempt to delete them), PMP warns me that it's found "remote items", but doesn't list anything in what appears to be a list box, and states that it will only operate on local items.

Clicking Yes to ignore the "remote items" and continue doesn't do anything.. neither does clicking no.

However, removing the same photos individually / one by one works absolutely fine suggesting it's more of a problem with the confirmation dialogue box than the process

Photo Mechanic Plus v6, 5820 (a6fdfbc) running on an M1 MacBook.
