Pause and resume Scan to Catalog?

Hi all,
I'm several days into scanning to catalog (several 100k of pics on slowish external USB drive) and I have a software update that needs a restart of my computer.
How do I pause and resume the scan-to-catalog process when my machine needs to be rebooted?
Thanks for an amazing piece of software!
(Running Windows 10 + latest version of PMP)

Just quit and restart Photo Mechanic Plus later.  The work should pick up where it left off.
