Is the resolution value displayed being provided from the camera's data file ?  If so, do you provide the capability to set it to a user value?

In my case, PM displays the resolution value as 300 pixels/inch. I would like to set this to 360 pixels/inch.

Yes, it comes from the Exif data in the image.

If so, do you provide the capability to set it to a user value?

Yes, you can use the "Change Resolution..." command on the Tools menu and set it to any value you like.

Select the photos you want to change and then use the command.
