Hello,

why PM changes in 'Set Primary Destination Root Path...' a space character to an underscore character? (e.g. <Code-Based Delivery> to <Code-Based_Delivery>)

It isn't for me.  Are you sure your folder name has a normal space character in it and it isn't some non-ASCII (Unicode) character?

"LiveIngest" shows what I have set.
"Navigator" shows what PM did (it created a folder with underscore character and copied the file to this folder).

I use a German keyboard!?

... I think I solved my problem:

I disabled 'typographical punctuation' in MAC OS system settings (keyboard settings) and restarted (!!!) my MAC. Now PM can handle my 'space Character in Folder name' problem.

It also solved my trouble with left and right single quotation marks in the IPTC keyword-field.
