Incorrect filesize when selecting all pictures with CRTL+A
« on: November 04, 2021, 03:13:47 AM »
Hi,

when I manually select a number of pictures using Shift or CRTL I see the number of selected pictures and the total filesize in the left bottom corner. Even if I mark the first picture and via Shift click on the last one all pictures the shown total filesize seems correct.

But when I use CTRL+A to select all pictures in a contact sheet the filesize only reflects one picture - the one clicked before using the CTRL-A shortcut.

Guess this is not intended or is it?

Was this a search results contact sheet (anything produced from the Catalog)?  If so, it may be that not all of the images had loaded their metadata prior to your selecting all.  In that case, the size will be incorrect.

No, not a search result, no catalog. Just a folder opened as contact sheet. I still have PM 5 installed, so I performed the same CTRL-A selection on the same folder in PM5 and PM6+. PM5 shows the total filesize, PM6+ not.

Btw, I am using Windows 10.

It still may be the case that not all of the metadata has loaded for a folder-based contact sheet.  What happens if you wait a while before pressing Ctrl-A?

Makes no difference. I have a folder open since my last reply and the behavior still has not changed.

OK.  If we can reproduce the problem, we'll fix it.
