When I'm zoomed into an image with a lot of repeating elements like trees or clouds, it is not always easy to know where I am zoomed into. It would really help to get to the area I want to look at if there was some indication of where in the image I am. Perhaps a rectangle showing the area in the thumbnail? I assume making this draggable would be too complex but just showing where I am zoomed would be a big help. For example, I've been shooting birds in flight and when zoomed in to 100% on a high resolution camera they can move outside of the zoomed area from one frame to the next. I'm sure this would be helpful for sports shooters too.
