File Re-naming Old PSD files

PM6 won't let me re-name old PSD files - says there is no plugin available.  How can I fix this?  And it seems the whole batch fails - even non-PSD files!

Are they not really PSD files?  In other words, are they some other file format (say JPEG) than PSD, but happen to have the .PSD extension?
