WEBP format for Web applications

Hi There ,
I am enjoying Photo Mechanic more that 10 years! Thank you for a great product!
It will be great to add WebP format for exporting in addition to JPEG.
WebP has an advantage on compare to JPEG and the pages will be loaded faster with a lot of images.

Please do Webp is "required" by Google to get any good pagespeed results and most wordpress plugins lose meta data. So it would be greatly appreciated to be included

Can I please also add my voice to this request? I don't currently need to export .webp files, but I do seem to get sent them quite often and the ability to at least view, render and export as jpg would be helpful.

I'm adding my name to the request. WEBP is essential today for images on the web if you want to get a decent score to move you up the list with Google Search.

Hi Ned,

The latest versions of Photo Mechanic do have the option to Save as a WebP file. This new feature is only for the subscriptions and perpetual license holders and is not going to be added to Photo Mechanic 6. I have attached a screen shot of the new Save as dialog, saved as a webp file.
