No colors showing in 'select color class menu'

In the 'select color class' menu, I only have black boxes showing in the menu.  Not the color representative examples. PM 4.5.1b3

Noticed this in 4.5.       I uninstalled 4.5 and installed the beta. No improvement.  This is on a IBM Thinkpad X60

What OS are you running?
What is PM 4.5.1b3?
Can you post a screenshot?
