Caption shortcut
« on: September 08, 2022, 02:00:49 PM »
When using the caption field in IPTC, the 1st use has the cursor start at the beginning of the caption.  When you save and proceed to the next image, the cursor is not present anywhere.  It would be helpful to have a shortcut that would start the cursor at the top again as it does with a fresh IPTC template.

Thanks.

FYI - on Windows, if I use the keyboard shortcuts (for example, Alt-Right Arrow to save and go to next) the cursor remains in the last field I've used.  But if I use the mouse to click a button to save and advance, the cursor disappears.

Thanks for the update, sounds like a bug, as that is how it behaves on Mac no matter how I advance.

On Windows, buttons that are clicked gain keyboard focus.

Use the keyboard shortcut and you can retain the focus of the text field currently having keyboard focus (the one with the blinking cursor.)

I did not know of that shortcut but it should do what I want perfectly.  Thanks.
