HEIC photos from Xiaomi 12S Ultra can't be shown in Photo Mechanic Plus?

I thought that HEIC photos are supported by PM. It displays properly in Photos app but not in PM Plus. any idea what I can do to display them properly?

Please provide us with a sample image.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your HEIC file.
