You want to rename the names of the attachments?

yes, exactly!
Often I sent not all pictures of a directory out, and then I dont want a patchy numbering :)

I don't believe I ever promised to add such a feature.

Often I sent not all pictures of a directory out, and then I dont want a patchy numbering :)

While I understand the use of a renaming in e-mailed images I find patchy numbering a better solution than sending continously numbered images and then look for their original names when smebody asks for the original file, or wants a print or the like. I tend to always use the same naming for all images not taking care what patchy it looks for someone receiveing it. They usually ignore the name just look at the images...

You are completely right in that having the rename option should be consistent. I just wanted to point at loosing the original filename can have side effects. You still may want the option and renaming could be used to prepend or append something in the posted filename still keeping the original one if needed.

So I second your wish for the feature.
