File Uploader "local" metadata template option

This feature request has been around for a decade but under the support forum. Posting here in hopes it'll get more visibility:

I'd still like to see a Local/Global Metadata Template option for the FTP upload dialog just like exists in the Ingest dialog.

Bumping this again in hopes it makes it into PM7. It would save me so much time on deadline this feature alone would make the subscription worthwhile.

I'd like to see a "local" IPTC template in the uploader dialog that saves/loads with the lightning bolt presets. This way I can load an uploader template and the specific local IPTC template that I need for that server would load with it.

Here is my semi-annual bump on this feature request. It is still the number one thing I would like to see implemented due to how much time/effort it would save me.

Added: Uploader templates now have a local Metadata Template that is capable of being set per template or snapshot.  Now you can be sure that when you choose a snapshot for a template that the local Metadata Template settings you’ll apply to your uploaded photos is correct.
