Incomplete Catalog Import
« on: December 26, 2022, 11:26:32 AM »
I recently made a new catalog and added a folder of 155 items into it.
However, only 104 of them made it into PM6+

I have tried importing this folder to catalog twice, and both times, it skips importing the same files.

It is worth noting that all of them were created in the exact same way and at approximately the same time.  They are PNG files and appear to be without any errors when I inspect them in Windows Explorer.
I am also able to view all the files if I open the folder as a contact sheet.

Attached is a screen clip of the scan status, showing how files are being skipped (they are supposed to be in perfectly successive order).

How do I go about fixing this?  Thanks.

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic Plus go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Finder window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

Thanks,

-Kirk

I deleted and remade the catalog, this time importing a copy of the folder (on the C drive rather than D) and it appears to be picking up the files fine, now.  Very strange...
I'll send you that log if I can replicate this behavior again.
