Displaying everything but a certain keyword?

I'm trying to filter to images with a certain keyword but WITHOUT another keyword. 
Basically, an inverse of how selecting a keyword typically works.

I have tried selecting everything but the one I want, but I get this readout when I try to select "too many" (screenshot attached). 

This would be really helpful for my workflow, thanks.

I would recommend using a Quick Search rather than filters to achieve this, based on what you've said, the following search should work:

Keywords not "examplekeyword"

For me, this returns everything in my catalog without "examplekeyword"

I like how I can do multiple ones, such as [keywords not "Embedding" and not "Interior"]
