Keywords in Meta - Global updating
« on: March 28, 2023, 04:47:58 AM »
Is there a way to select several images in the contact sheet screen and put the same Keyword in each images metadata in one action?

Thank you.

Use the metadata template to achieve that.  First select the images that need the keywords applying, then press Ctrl-i/Cmd-i (Win/Mac) to open the template.  Press the "Clear" button in the bottom left to make sure you don't accidentally overwrite metadata other than the keywords.  Enter the keywords that you want to apply in the "Keywords" field, then press the "Apply Template to Selected" button.  Note that you can tick the checkbox marked "+" next to the Keywords field and your new keywords will be appended to rather then overwriting any existing keywords in the images.

There more on using the metadata temple here:
