No option to save crop snapshot?

Should there be an option to save a crop snapshot from the snapshot button in the crop section of the preview window?  See the attached screenshot.

Is there another way to save one?

Crop snapshots are created in the Crop Settings window opened by clicking the 'Settings' button.
