DNG files from Insta360 3X seems to be incompatible

I just bought a new camera, the 360° Insta360 X3. I cannot see the DNGs in Photo Mechanic 6 build 6784.

The file appears to be a (little endian) tiff, I read the magic hex number: 49 49 2A 00. Various image software claim the file to be corrupt.

Edit: Changed file extension .tif (what I get when downloading) to .dng and file opens in Affinity Photo2 (Windows). The file may not have the embedded jpeg image that PM requires. Some cameras do not embed a jpeg version of the image. You may try to embed the jpeg image version using Adobe DNG converter tool or Lightroom.
