Replace copyright metadata on volume session images
« on: August 10, 2023, 02:30:49 PM »
I want to apply a unique bar code number for each image i photographed. is there a way to upload a csv to do this?

Essentally I photographed a school and each student has a bar code. I have a csv with image number the student it belongs to and their barcode, now i need to assign the barcode number to the image files. My software needs the barcode number in the copyright metadata of the images to automatically sort them. Is this a quick thing to set up in photomechanic

This should be possible using a combination of variables and code replacements.  Does the "Image number" match up with the filename? A screenshot where we can see the filenames and the information in the CSV that matches those files would be very helpful for me to tell you what you'd need to do to set this up. If you can't post a screenshot publicly, feel free to email it to support@camerabits.com and we can help you by email.
