navigator and catalog

Navigator and catalog suddenly disappeared. How do I get it back.

Go to the View menu and click 'Navigator' and 'Organizer' to show these panels.

I have all the time had Navigator, Favorites and Organizer clicked to be shown. I have also closed and restarted the program  many times with the three both clicked and not clicked. And I have also updated to the last version. Nothing happens.

Then I would recommend following Kirk's instructions for creating a new preferences database here: https://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?topic=8219.0

Doing that reset the state of all windows for me.
