Hiding specific files

Hi,
My inquire is about hiding certain files in the PM thumbnail view. I have files like .dop or .xmp displaying with thumbnails.
There is a way to hide those files?

Just go to the View menu and uncheck the option Unknown Files as Proxies. I see from your screen shot you have DNG files with an associated XMP sidecar file.  Photo Mechanic will only read and updated embedded metadata in DNG files.

About xmp I have to clean them, the ones related with dng. I have many others associated to NEF. and a lot of DOP files related to DxO Photolab, but hiding is already a good thing.
