setting color class of NEF also sets it to JPG
« on: January 17, 2024, 10:34:37 AM »
When I set the color class of a NEF in a collection the correspondingly named JPG in a different folder is also changed to that color.

Is this intended? Can I stop it?

Thanks

If you have RAW and JPEG paired, it is intended.  You can turn this off from the View menu (Combined Images).  Then your RAW and JPEG files will be shown separately and you can edit them individually.

The 'Combined Images' setting was my first thought but this was not checked.

I reset the color class several times & tried restarting but the behaviour continued. However, the next day all was working as expected. It was late at night and I was tired when this problem appeared so possibly it was just a wetware failure.
