"Trash" folder won't open in PM6

I recently upgraded to PM6. I discovered today that when I attempt to open my Trash folder in PM6, no images appear. I never had this issue with previous versions of PM.

Opening the entire Trash folder in PM is needed when I realize after the fact that I perhaps should not have deleted certain images.

I am running PM6, build 6890 (ffcbb4c) on MacOS 14.1.1

You must have also updated your operating system, correct? What version of MacOS did this last work on, to your knowledge?

I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro and installed the PM6. I was able to view my trash folder with my old MacBook Pro, which was running Mac 10.10.5 and PM5, build 1861 (2882482).

Seems like Apple has made a change at some point. Attempting to open the trash folder results in Photo Mechanic being notified from the OS that the operation is not permitted.  Unfortunately I'm not sure we can do anything about this, as the OS is blocking it from reading the folder.
