I have customized my fields in the Metadata Template and Metadata Info since that feature was introduced.
I recently Restored Defaults and discovered there were some additional metadata fields added to PM that I didn't know about which turned out to be very helpful.
However I only need to use them on assignments for specific clients and not all the time. While I know I can use snapshots inside the Preferences, that isn't the most convenient option.
I'd like to propose the ability to expand / contract the sections in the Metadata dialogs from right within those dialogs. This could be accomplished by double-clicking the blue section dividers or with a ▶ icon at the edge of the divider ▼ to indicate state.
This would allow all fields to remain "visible" for quick/easy access but also give the ability to declutter the dialogs and focus just on specific fields without needing to dig into the preferences.
