Slow loading PM+ v6.0 Bld 7212

I am running a beefy Mac Studio Ultra M1 with 128GM ram and 4TB SSD. I am noticing PM taking a long time getting the file structure. It took 90 seconds from staring the program until it got the subdirectory structure. Is this normal/acceptable?

Note, I have been a licensed user for at least 10 years.

When you say file structure, what are you talking about?  Thumbnails appearing in a contact sheet?  The Favorites or Navigator showing all of their items?  Something else?
